Morfosia is dedicated to transform waste into wonder - by crafting timeless, versatile and comfortable upcycled leather goods, made from surplus leather. Our ethos revolves around repurposing leather while empowering our clients to cherish their pieces to the fullest.

We devote all our efforts to source high-quality surplus leather from fashion brands and giving them a second life, preventing it from being discarded in landfills and avoiding contributing to the environmental impact of new leather manufacturing.

Through our efforts, we give new life to materials that would otherwise be wasted, all while crafting products that prioritize both quality and environmental responsibility.

Ethical Production

Morfosia is committed to supporting local communities and small businesses. Each of our pieces are thoughtfully handcrafted in Barcelona, Spain, by a family-owned and operated business. This collaboration not only ensures exceptional quality but also honours the craftsmanship and traditions of the region.

"In 2023, I was given a large quantity of surplus leather from a renowned, trendy Parisian brand. They had stored it away in their headquarters, destined for disposal. Committed to circularity, I saw an opportunity to give it new life.

For months, I sketched out ideas, searched for the right design. Then, inspiration for the perfect bag struck, beginning the journey to the Morfosia of today.

The perfect type of bag was right in front of me all along: my mom’s early 2000s crossbody bag with a small front pocket for her Nokia phone. Two decades later, I stumbled upon it and never looked back. Its versatility and comfort made it my constant companion for any occasion: at work, dinners, dates, beach days, and parties. The old Nokia pocket became the perfect spot for my metro card and keys, a game changer for my on-the-go lifestyle.

I fell in love with its effortless blend of function and style, and I knew anything I created had to embody the same cool, comfortable style.

To create the bag, I needed the best by my side.

Therefore I turned to a friend, one of the most talented bag crafters I know, who instantly understood my vision. Together, we brainstormed, sketched and refined over every detail.

After countless late nights and after-work meetings, the Nokia Bag was created."
